DIVISIONAL AWARDS

First, second and third place awards, plus honourable mentions, are given in each of the Divisions and Categories. In the Junior Category, we give separate awards to individual and group projects.

GRAND AWARDS

Grand Awards refer to the most prestigious and valuable prizes:

  • Trips to the Canada Wide Science Fair - five in 2009.

  • Jobs on campus at the University of Western Ontario - three in 2009.

OTHER AWARDS

University Entrance Scholarships.

SCHOOL TROPHIES

  • Elementary school making the best contribution to the fair.

  • Secondary school making the best contribution to the fair in grades nine and ten.

  • School trophy for the winner of the Best in Fair award.

SPECIAL AWARDS

Awards given by Sponsors for projects that meet criteria defined by the donor.

Awards are finalized only days before the Fair. The Committee of the London District Science & Technology Fair reserves the right not to give awards for which the funding has not been received.
