REGISTRATION
All registration is done on line by the student. Registration is open from January 1, 2012 to March 21, 2012.

Students who have not completed on-line registration by this date will not be allowed to participate in the science fair.

ON LINE REGISTRATION

ELEMENTARY SCHOOL – GRADES 4 – 8
Your teacher will enter your full name and email address into the online registration system.

You will receive an email with full instructions on how to complete registration. If you do not have an email address, your teacher will give you instructions.

Elementary School students wishing to apply for entry into the District Fair must have the support of their science teacher. It is important that the project be judged by the science teacher to be of sufficient quality for the regional competition.

The maximum number of entries from each elementary school is ten.

Grades 4 – 5 will participate in non-competitive display and activities only. Grades 6 – 8 will participate in the competitive fair.

If you are home-schooled, send an email message to the Registrar.

HIGH SCHOOL – GRADES 9 – 12
We allow all students in High School to enter the Fair. Send an email message with your full name, school and grade to the Registrar. You will receive in return an email with full instructions on how to complete registration. Use the Contact link in the footer.

PERMISSON FORM
A Permission Form signed by the Student, the Parent or Guardian, and the Teacher, must be submitted via Canada Post. The address, a Post Office Box, is given on the form.

DEADLINES
The deadline for all entries is midnight on 23 March 2012 – . The signed permission form must arrive 3 days before the fair.

LATE APPLICATIONS
Late applications will not be accepted. It takes several days to assign judges and print all the forms.

WITHDRAW
If you decide to withdraw, please inform the Registrar as soon as possible so that your space can be reassigned.

PARTICIPATION OF HUMANS
If your project involves the participation of humans, including yourself or your immediate family, you must read the Youth Science Canada Policy on Human Participation.

USE OF ANIMALS
If your project involves the use of animals, you must read the Youth Science Canada Policy on the Use of Animals.

RULES
Make sure you visit the Rules page before you start your project. Entries which do not comply with the rules of the London District Science & Technology Fair may be refused. The decision to deny entry rests with the Fair Committee and such decisions shall be final.
